A Man Was Flogged 80 Times and then Hanged in Prison
Iran Human RightsOne man was hanged in the Rajaee shahr prison of Karaj, west of Tehran today. According to the state run Iranian news agency ISCA news, the man was identified as Mohammad A. (25 years old) and was convicted of rape and alcohol consumption. He was sentenced to 80 lashes and death by hanging, and his sentence was implemented in the Rahaee shahr prison this morning.
