بنابه گزارشات رسیده به "فعالین حقوق بشر و دمکراسی در ایران" برگزاری گسترده جشن چهارشنبه سوری در کرج ،شهریار ،گوهردشت و اندیشه که به اعتراضات علیه رژیم ولی فقیه تبدیل شده بود با یورش نیروهای سرکوبگر مواجه و تعدادی از مردم دستگیر شدند.
